Description
Mopec’s range of Harmony tissue marking inks is designed to permanently mark surgical tissue margins in Histological specimens. The dyes are available in 9 colors, with a standardized viscosity across the range, reducing variation between colors compared to competitor products. This allows for easy marking of both small and large specimens with any chosen color.
Harmony has been engineered to slightly reduce in viscosity during application, providing a smooth, easy-to-apply tissue marking ink without dripping or running, ensuring even coverage on the specimen. High pigment concentrations enhance durability, making diagnostic specimens easier to mark. The dye coats specimens with minimal tissue penetration, and its strong adhesion ensures it does not interfere with diagnostic interpretations, making it ideal for radical prostatectomies.
All nine dye colors are easily distinguishable, helping prevent user error by matching the macroscopic bottle label with the color observed under the microscope for each marked margin. Unlike other dyes available in the market, Harmony’s range is non-hazardous, negating the need for any special handling during use.
