Description
Mopec’s range of Harmony tissue marking inks is used to permanently mark surgical tissue margins in histological specimens. These marking inks are available in 9 colors, with a standardized viscosity across the range. This ensures less variation in viscosity from one color to another compared to competitor products, allowing for the easy marking of both small and large specimens with any chosen ink color.
Harmony has also been purposely engineered to reduce viscosity during application, giving users an easy-to-apply tissue marking ink without dripping or running, while ensuring even coverage on the specimen. High concentrations of pigment increase durability and allow diagnostic specimens to be more easily marked. Harmony coats specimens with minimal penetration of the tissue surface, while its strong adhesion qualities ensure the tissue marking ink will not interfere with diagnostic interpretations, making it ideal for radical prostatectomies.
All nine dye colors are easy to distinguish, eliminating potential user error by ensuring that the acrylic colors shown on the bottle label (macroscopic) match the color observed under the microscope for each marked margin. Unlike other products on the market, Harmony’s range of tissue marking inks is non-hazardous, negating the need for special handling requirements during use.
