Construction

• Kit consists of:
  (1) Mixing Card
  (1) Spatula
  (1) Tube of Catalyst
  (1) Casting Material
  (1) Tube of Casting Putty
• Used when highly detailed castings of a tool and jimmy marks are needed or for lifting dusted latent prints off rough or round surfaces
• Excellent at rendering small details
• Short curing time
• High contrast for microscopic observations
• Works in below freezing temperatures

Performance

• Mix the putty and catalyst on a mixing card with the spatula and apply it to the surface being cast
• Cast should set between 6-8 minutes
• In below freezing temperates, cast should be set within 15 minutes
• Black:
  Use to lift dusted latent fingerprints from rough or textured surfaces where regular lift tape will not work
  Use black casting puddy with white, silver, or fluorescent powders
• White:
  Use to lift dusted latent fingerprints from rough or textured surfaces where regular lift tape will not work
  Use white casting puddy with black powders
• Gray:
  Provides contrast between light-colored surfaces and shadows produced from side-lighting
• Brown:
  Dark color increases the visibility of detail in the casts
